Linda Moran, Ed.D., Partner

 

Linda Moran specializes in large-scale organizational change, leadership development, training design and delivery, and implementing high-performing teams. She also served as Practice Leader for AchieveGlobal, researching and developing performance improve-ment initiatives in Change Management, Leadership Development and Transforming Workplaces. Her in-depth experience and analysis in the leading edge field of self-direction have created a national demand for her consulting and speaking services. Her professional experience includes human resource and training positions at both the Oyster Creek Nuclear Power Plant and Chubb & Sons, Inc.

Dr. Moran has more than 20 years of experience in organizational performance improvement. She has extensive experience in multi-cultural organizational change, designing team-based organizations, change management, customer loyalty, and executive coaching. She applies her knowledge in a wide range of industries and organizational levels.

Dr. Moran is the co-author of numerous books and articles, including Self-Directed Work Teams: The New American Challenge; Keeping Teams on Track: What to do When the Going Gets Rough; Self-Directed Work Teams: A Lot More than Team Work (3rd edition, 1989). She co-authored Self-Directed Work Teams: Mastering the Challenge (2nd edition, 2000). Her most recent publication is Beyond Teams: Building the Collaborative Organization (2003).

Dr. Moran earned a doctorate in organizational leadership and adult education at Columbia University, a master’s degree in organizational communication from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. from Pennsylvania State University. She is currently a faculty member at the University of Hartford.
