Gregory Thomson

Greg Thomson, Partner - works with clients in the manufacturing, power generation, utility, healthcare, spirits, industrial chemical, distribution, and non-profit sectors. He served as SVP, Human Resources at Owens Corning, where Human Resource magazine recognized him for his contribution to the business and the function as a finalist in the HR Executive of the year.

Mr. Thomson was VP, Human Resources for Public Service Enterprise Group in Newark, New Jersey, one of the nation’s largest combined electric and gas utilities. He held top-level Human Resources positions at Alexander and Alexander and the General Electric Company. In 2007 he founded the Wind Energy Corporation with a previous client, taking the product concept from design to reality, and involved in every aspect of the startup. The company continues pioneering its radical new vertical axis design and he is contributing to its success as a board member

Mr. Thomson has been retained frequently to evaluate HR functional capabilities and to create an HR strategy for clients. He was a charter member of the Center for Human Resources Management at Farleigh Dickinson University, and served as founder and the first Chairman of the Board for LearnShare, a consortium of Fortune 200 companies. Known as an innovator, he has presented his ideas and initiatives at numerous conferences and meetings on strategy, change, and the Process Based Organization.

Mr. Thomson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business from Virginia Polytechnic Institute. He has pursued extensive executive development through various organizations including Columbia University, GE’s Management Development Institute, Executive Re-Invention, and NTL Institute.

Mr. Thomson is well known for his insights and ability to lead organization design and restructuring projects. His CHRS clients include Coke, McKesson, and others.
